Canoa Quebrada fica a 170 km de Fortaleza e a 380 km de Natal। A cidade é bem pequena, o que a torna mais aconchegante e charmosa. Na rua principal, Dragão do Mar, mais conhecida como Broadway, só é permitido o trânsito de pedestres. É um grande corredor com bares, restaurantes e lojinhas nas laterais, além de muitos banquinhos. Seguindo reto pela Broadway chega-se a uma grande praça, de onde já é possível avistar as dunas. Para chegar na praia é preciso descer a escada, pois uma grande falésia esconde o mar. O litoral de Canoa Quebrada é assim, cheio de falésias, dunas e um mar bem verde.
